Our journey began with our beloved grandfather, who started his small trade in attars and topis. But beyond that, his real passion and effort went into selling miswak, the Sunnah product that has been a part of Muslim life for centuries.

He taught his son — our respected father, K. Mohammed Ibrahim — everything about the business: how to source good quality miswak, how to pack it, how to approach customers, and most importantly, how to sell with honesty.

Following in his father’s footsteps, my father began his journey in miswak with nothing but faith and hard work. Carrying just 5 to 10 bundles of miswak, he would travel 500 kilometers or more — from our village Adoni (Andhra Pradesh) to cities like Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Kolkata. The travel was tough, often in crowded trains, buses, and lorries, with long sleepless nights and many struggles. But still, he never gave up.

Slowly, with dua, patience, and honest effort, Allah put barakah in his work. What started as a few bundles of miswak on long, tiring journeys has today become a trusted name — Al Fiza Perfumes.

Now, I, K. Akbar Sultan, continue this legacy as the third generation. From my grandfather to my father, and now to me, this business has always been about more than just trade — it is about preserving a Sunnah, serving people with honesty, and carrying forward a family’s sacrifice and dedication.

Alhamdulillah, our story of miswak has now expanded into perfumes, attars, and Islamic essentials — but our heart will always remember where it all began: with the miswak, and the hard work of those before us.
